It is imperative that teaching assistants and faculty are able to mentally and physically respond if an active violence inciden t occurs during class instruction. These incidents are unpredictable and e volve quickly - situations are often over within 10 minutes, and before l aw enforcement arrives on the scene. This workshop will give teaching ass istants and faculty direction on how to react in an active violence incide nt in order to increase the chance of survival for students, teaching ass istants and faculty.
