Postdoc Professional Development Launch

Sit in the driver's seat to take control of your career development. We are embarking on a new year of programs for postdocs at MSU, and that means taking an active role in defining your experience and your plans. We are highlighting the philosophy of the "flexible professional" this year, and we will cover topics such as time/project management, communication, setting goals & expectations, personal wellness and controlling the mentoring you receive.
After we discuss how to craft a development plan and identify tools to accomplish goals, we will set out a course of workshops that may focus on skill development, career discovery or job applications (or some combination of topics) that will help in your journey to independence. Please register.
