Resumes are a common document use d to apply for jobs outside of academia. Resumes are not simply short CVs and constructing one requires more than just shortening your CV. This work shop will describe the difference between CVs and resumes. In addition, t he workshop will describe how to translate your experiences from a CV to a resume. The workshop will cover common categories found in a resume and t he unique writing style that makes resumes more effective. Bring your resu me with you, there will be time to share and get feedback.
