How many times each semester are you a sked to go around and share something about yourselves (your interests, y our research, your life outside academia, etc)? Depending on the audienc e, the context, or where we are at in life, what we include in our stor y and what platforms we take up to share that story might change. With thi s in mind it’s important to critically think about the considerations uniq ue to each platform and the ways in which they can be leveraged to tell yo ur story. In this workshop we will review a variety of tools and platforms that can be used to publicly share your narrative(s). We will also discus s the concept of digital presence and how your work (and narratives) can b e enhanced / highlighted using best practices as they relate to those plat forms (including but not limited to web-based, etc.).
*This is Part Three of a three-part series. In signing up for this series you are signin g up to participate in all parts (March 16, March 23, March 30). To regi ster, please visit the event page for the first session (March 16).
