Volunteers Needed for April 22nd Science Olympiad in East Lansing
Science Olympiad is a program of STEM competitions, supporting students grades 6-12.
The state tournament hosts over 120 schools from throughout the state of Michigan. MSU is hosting our 40th annual State tournament this year, and the 40th annual National tournament in May of 2024. We need volunteers for over 46 individual competitive events. We offer either morning or afternoon shifts on April 22nd

Join us as we celebrate Michigan State Postdocs at the 2023 Postdoc Awards Ceremony!
Faculty and Postdocs across all disciplines are invited to attend and mingle during this catered event featuring the recognition of excellence in Postdoc research and mentorship. The MSU Postdoctorate Association (PDA) Steering Committee will also provide discussion on ongoing work as an organization and provide an engaging brief professional development activity for the attendees during the ceremony.

What are the the Postdoctoral Excellence Awards?
The MSU Office of Postdoctoral Affairs and the Office of the Senior Vice President for Research and Innovation award annually the Postdoctoral Excellence in Research Award (PERA) to two exceptional Postdoctoral Researchers for their contributions to MSU and the greater research community e Postdoctoral Excellence in Teaching and/or Mentoring Award (PETMA) to two exceptional Postdoctoral Scholars for their contribution in promoting the success and development of undergraduate and/or graduate students at MSU.
What is the the Postdoctorate Association Steering Committee?
The MSU-PDA Steering Committee is a group of postdoc volunteers, whose mission is to:
Promote and provide opportunities for career and professional development of postdocs at MSU.
Disseminate information relevant to MSU postdocs
Organize opportunities for interactions between MSU postdocs.
