Great Lakes Expo

Join at Great Lakes EXPO for the new, expanded Innovation Experience focusing on labor-saving technologies. An aisle is dedicated to innovation and agricultural technology.

70+ education sessions and workshops will be offered over the three days. The programming includes sessions on specialty crops, greenhouses, farm marketing, and more. The specialty crop researchers at Michigan State and other universities will speak in many sessions.

NPA Launches New Postdoc of the Year Award

The National Postdoctoral Association (NPA) wishes to recognize a postdoctoral researcher who has advanced the national and/or local postdoctoral community in an exceptional manner beyond their work duties and in alignment with the NPA mission and core values.

Deadline for nominations: Monday, November 27, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. ET

Nominations will be reviewed and selected by the NPA Awards Committee, which is composed of the chair of the NPA Board of Directors and their invitees.

3rd annual Henry Ford + MSU Cancer Research Symposium

The Henry Ford + MSU Cancer Research Symposium encourages collaboration and innovation within the scientific and clinical community at Henry Ford Health and MSU. Established by Henry Ford Health + MSU Health Sciences in 2021, the multidisciplinary cancer symposium features Henry Ford Health and MSU speakers and external keynote presentations on basic, translational, and clinical trials to reduce cancer health disparities.

Symposium events will be held in the MSU Union, with a special evening poster session on Thursday, November 9 at MSU Spartan Stadium MSUFCU Club, 4th floor.

This event is free, but registration is required due to limited space. Register by October 9.
