International Conference on Biomedical Engineering and Ophthalmology (ICBEO-24) will be held in Boston, USA on 8th – 9th August 2024.
It is the hope of the ICBEO Conference that you will join us, either in person or online, to take complete advantage of all that this event has to offer. This entire conference has been organized with the sole intention of allowing participants access to the latest research insights, opportunities to disseminate research, network with fellow professionals, and take advantage of opportunities to accelerate their careers in the discipline of Biomedical Engineering and Ophthalmology.
As a highly anticipated event, drawing the attention of the global academic community, this conference will be built on the bedrock of outstanding research contributions by highly talented professionals from the global research community, public sector, and industry. Everything from conference paper, poster, and abstract presentations to scintillating keynote speeches, talks, Q&A Sessions, and Workshops have been planned as part of the ICEFB Conference organizers’ overall focus on raising awareness of the contributions to nurture, cultivate, enhance and accelerate the adoption of the latest Biomedical Engineering and Ophthalmology developments and innovations for the benefit of society. Over the past year, Biomedical Engineering and Ophthalmology has witnessed unprecedented growth in the number of deployments, resource investment from industry and government, and attention from leading technologists.
The ICBEO Conference will showcase the latest from the academic and research community in this field. It includes an extensive program of paper and poster presentations on the latest developments and innovations on this front, as well as associated disciplines, in order to offer participants a more well-rounded, multidisciplinary outlook on these advancements rather than just a one-sided perspective.

The Foundation encourages all theoretical and experimental research relevant to the study of cancer and the search for cancer causes, mechanisms, therapies and prevention.
Candidates must apply for the fellowship under the guidance of a Sponsor – a scientist (tenured, tenure-track or equivalent position) capable of providing mentorship to the Fellow. In addition to aiding in the planning, execution and supervision of the proposed research, the Sponsor’s role is to foster and the development of the Fellow’s overall knowledge, technical and analytical skills, and capacity for scientific inquiry. The Sponsor is also expected to assist the fellow in attaining their career goals.
Applicants are evaluated based on the quality of their research proposal, including the significance of the problem, originality, and clarity. The qualifications and productivity of bot the candidate and their Sponsor, as well as the research training environment’s potential to enhance the candidate’s independence and innovation, are also crucial. The proposed research should offer new opportunities for the candidate to broaden their skills and should not merely extend their graduate work.
The Damon Runyan Cancer Research Foundation will retire up to $100K of any qualifying medical school debt still owed by the awardee. There is also a $1,000 yearly dependent child allowance.
Eligible applicants must have completed one or more of the following degrees or its equivalent: MD, PhD, MD/PhD, DDS, DVM, DO. The applicant must include a copy of their diploma to confirm date of conferral.
Level 1: Basic and physician-scientists must have received their degrees no more than 18 months prior to the application deadline date. Applicants must not have been in their Sponsors labs for more than one year prior to the application deadline.
Level 2: Physician-scientist applicant (MD, MD/PhD, DDS, DVM, DO or the equivalent) must have completed their residencies and clinical training, and must be board eligible in the U.S. at the start date of the Fellowship. Additional eligibility on foundation website.
