The Zuckerman Postdoctoral Scholars Program Call for Nominations 2023-2024
The program supports future generations of leaders in STEM. Once the postdoc scholars complete their research in Israel, they are expected to accept faculty positions at top North American universities, strengthening the US-Israel partnership by building on long-lasting relationships of mutual collaboration.

We are proud of the ties we have created with Michigan State University through Dr. Charles Krasnow. Dr. Krasnow earned a PhD at the Department of Plant, Soil and Microbial Sciences at Michigan State University’s College of Agriculture and is a 2022-2023 Zuckerman Scholar at the Laboratory of Postharvest Disease Control of Vegetables at the Volcani Institute, Israel’s Agricultural Research Organization, in collaboration with The Robert H. Smith Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
I hope that we will have the opportunity to promote our postdoc scholarship opportunities at Michigan State University and continue to explore ways to collaborate in supporting scientific leaders and strengthening the academic exchange between universities in US and Israel.
